Hi! My name is Reese. I am a scientist and educator who moved to Collingwood Ontario after graduating from Toronto Metropolitan University with a Bachelors in Chemistry. In 2020 I started Easy STEM Education, offering online and in person tutoring as well as custom made course and exam prep workbooks. In 2022 I was acknowledged for my work tutoring university students by the Faculty of Science and released my YouTube Channel dedicated to teaching high school and university level physics, chemistry, and math.
I now offer online and in person tutoring services for students in grades 6-12 focusing on STEM subjects like math, physics, chemistry, and biology. My goal is to support each students unique learning goals and help prepare students for high school and university. I take a positive, goal oriented approach to learning with a focus on each students unique learning styles and needs.
My Mission
My mission is to make science and mathematics accessible and enjoyable for everyone. Once I learned how to be a successful student, school became a source of pride for me. I want every student to not only succeed in school but to share in the confidence that comes with taking control of your education and accomplishing your goals.

What makes my tutoring services special?
I know that every student is unique not only in the way they learn but in their goals and aspirations as a student and person. With this in mind each tutoring session is tailored to meet their needs and educational goals. During my initial meeting with the student we will determine how I can best support them. This can include:
- Homework help – I encourage students to bring in their homework so we can review and work through problems together.
- Test Prep – I work with students to make study schedules, teach them how to prepare notes, and help them work through practice questions.
- Curriculum Review – For students who struggle to keep up in class or want extra help with their course materials, we review their daily lessons and do additional practice to ensure they understand what they are learning in class.
- Project Support – For larger projects and assignments I work with students to review rubrics, prepare project plans, and support their understanding of the materials.
- Presentation Skills – I help students learn how to present their work and public speak with confidence using tools like PowerPoint.
- Advanced Learning – I offer additional course workbooks, practice questions, and extra-curricular projects/assignments to give students an opportunity to learn beyond the classroom. This includes at home science experiments with lab reports, real world problem solving, and creative challenges that make them think outside of the box.
